Its not set in stone yet, but these are the dates that the big tour companies are using. Not to worry though. We’ll hire around 500 friends to re-enact it for you guys…

Seriously though, Loy Krathong in the city will still be amazing, and have a lot of photo opportunities

    Hello Dilek,

The dates have been confirmed by calling the Yee Peng Lanna group. (We talk to them daily to order tickets to the Nov 8 event). Anywhere in the city would be a great place to stay as its actually very small. We have a few options available as well. You can see them through this website(http://www.CMStay.com), or through our listings on AirBNB (CMStay on AirBNB). We also rent new, top model scooters. You can see more info here (SCOOTERS RENTALS)

What’s the difference between the standard and vip tickets?

    King

    September 15, 2014 at 1:10 am

    Hello Jinbon,

The difference in the two ticket types are the location of the seating. The VIP/Premium seats are directly in front of the stage, where the standard tickets surround the VIP/Premium seating.

That’s right. The Oct 25 event is free and open to all. The Nov 25 event is a paid event.

I’m curious to know about how many attend the tourist one? is it like half as many people as the local one? just to get an idea if an estimate is possible.
Thanks

The Nov 08 event has a limited number of tickets (3000). I would guess and say that the Oct 25 event will be about 5 times that size.

    September 17, 2014 at 12:38 pm

Hi Carrie, Yes, as of now we have a limited amount of VIP tickets available. We don’t expect them to last through the week. Thanks!

HI, pls tell us how can we find out the limited amount of VIP tickets available. We already booked the flight, and it will be really suck if I cannot find the tickets to get in. Thanks.

Hi Karen. We’ve already called around trying to find more tickets. The Yee Peng Lanna group is completely sold out, but they said there were a few large “block” purchases. They may be tour companies reselling/scalping tickets. Good luck!

Yes, but its a distant sight and night picture will be impossible. You will see as much or more in the city.
