The Lantern Release Festival (Yee Peng ) date has officially been set. Keep in mind that prices have changed and ticket sales will follow a different pattern than in previous years.
Ticket sales started in April 2017. Make sure to add your email address to our list or “like/follow” the CMStay facebook page for more information as we release it.

May 13, 2015 at 10:40 amThere are 3 different levels(locations) of tickets. They do not include transportation. Transportation will be available throughout the city for an average of 200B/pax and up to $15USD/pax. You can order by clicking on the button of the type of ticket you want above the comments section of this page.

May 20, 2015 at 3:27 pmLike previous years, you will receive an email voucher from the Yee Peng Lanna group with the ticket number/confirmation. The physical tickets will be delivered to your hotel about 1 week before the event.

September 1, 2015 at 12:47 amThe event is held about 30 minutes outside of town near Mae Jo University. It would be much better to stay inside/near the Old City and take one of the many transport options that will be available. We should have more info on transports in October, but in past years it was 200B/pax(return trip) to/from the Old City/Event

September 3, 2015 at 2:04 amI see that the seating chart has A – H. When we buy standard or premium seat how do we know which section (A – H) we will end up in? How many people total usually attend the paid event?

September 3, 2015 at 2:10 amTicket are issued in order of purchase. You’ll get the next available ticket/seat in the level you chose (Standard, Premium, or VIP). I believe the total number of tickets is ~3000.
