Getting Here:
A taxi from the airport is a flat fee of 150B (Turn left after you leave baggage/customs and walk to the last exit. there are taxi stands before the exit) A ride from the train station or bus stations should be about 100B or less.

The driver should park in front of the Indie House. We are down the small alley just across. Walk down the alley, look on the left for the low black iron sliding rail that leads to our parking lot. Our place is 4 stories tall and pinkish in color.
There are going to be times where no one will be there to meet you. (Late check-ins, early check-ins, etc) If this is the case, we will arrange to leave a key for you in one of our lock boxes and send a message with the combination. Look for this:
Keytab Entry:
The main entrance to the building uses a RFID entry system. The key card will allow you into the building and turn on the room’s electricity. There is no code to enter, please just hold the key card reader, wait for the beep and then push the door open.

Usually it can save you 100 to 200thb from their internet/brochure prices and we can explain where to pick you up (Saving us from getting a 7am wake up call from a lost driver!!).
SIM CARDS
SIM CARDS – We’ve recently switch all our phones over to Finn mobile. They resell for DTAC (one of the big 3) and have huge discounts to help break into the market. There are many “plan” options, but they are not contracts. Its 1 month at a time, but much cheaper than the “tourist” sims at the airport and 7-11’s. Everything is done in English and you can have them send a SIM card here so its ready when you arrive( takes about 3 days). About Chiang Mai – Our Recommendations and Suggestions:
Internet:
The Wi-Fi name is “CMStay@BaanOuikum(or 2.4g)” and the password is the same for all of them: 8563227141
Water:
The water in the building is from our own well and filtered. It’s good for brushing your teeth and making coffee, tea, or cooking. There is also bottled water in the fridge for drinking. Please DO NOT throw away the empty bottles. You can return your empty bottles and take more from the stock at the bottom of the steps.
Toilets:
Please do not flush large amounts of tissue or anything larger (feminine hygiene products, diapers, baby wipes, etc)
Laundry
There is a laundry machine in our parking lot. There is a power switch to turn on the machine on the wall at about eye level. The machine takes two(2) 10 baht coins. Everything is automatic, please don’t push any buttons. They will go for three cycles on cold water and take about 1 hr. There is washing powder behind the machine.
The dryer has its own switch on the wall behind. Everything is automatic. please don’t press any buttons or turn knobs. Insert one(1) 10baht coin and wait a few seconds until the machine starts turning. After it starts turning inside, you can add additional 10 baht coins. Each 10 baht coin is 8 minutes.
If you prefer a laundry service, there are three on the next parallel road south, near the Birds Nest Cafe. Full service (wash, dry, fold) take most of the day, drop off today and pick up tomorrow.
Trash/Rubbish:
There is a Trash/Rubbish bin in our parking lot next to the washing machines. Please take your bags of Trash/Rubbish out when necessary. We have scheduled pick up every other day.
House Rules:
Basic common sense rules this place. Please keep things clean, quite during early and late hours. Please turn off electric (a/c, fan, lights, etc) when outside of the apartment. Ask if you have any questions or concerns. We are always willing to help with the room, town, transportation, etc. Don’t be afraid to ask.
As ID confirmation, a copy of your passport will be necessary for TM30 (Thai Immigration Law – Foreigner Registration) You can send us a picture of your passport’s ID page for registration.
Curfew Times:
You will be staying in your own apartment, so you are welcome to come and go as you please. Out of respect for your neighbors, we ask that the noise be kept to a minimum between the hours of 21:00 -> 08:00
